MA: INCENTIVE MATHEMATICS 8

Required: Accepted into the Incentive Program

This accelerated course covers the full Mathematics 8 curriculum and about two-thirds of Mathematics 9, taught at a faster pace and greater depth. It is designed for highly motivated students that have strong mathematical ability and interest. Students will engage in enrichment activities, which might include math contests or project-based works.

By the end of this course, students will have completed all Math 8 and most of Math 9. Those who get sufficiently high grade may continue to the Incentive Mathematics 9/10, but students who pass without meeting that standard should take regular Mathematics 9 the following year.
